Marc Senn

Marc was born in 2003 in a musical family. He joined the violin studio of Liana Tretiakova at the ZBSM in 2016. Marc has participated in the Masterclasses of Prof. Zakhar Bron, Tatiana Samouil, Sergey Ostrovsky and Klaidi Sahatci at the Menton Festival and in Zurich. He has also performed at the ZBSM open concerts in Zurich and Baden.

Marc Senn was born in Zürich in 2003. He started violin lessons at the age of seven and from 2016 studies intensively at the Zakhar Bron School of Music at the studio of Liana Tretyakova.

With intensive practicing Marc was able to move quickly from Accolaÿ Concerto to the virtuosic pieces by Sarasate.

Marc participated in the Masterclasses of Professor Sergei Ostrovsky and Professor Klaidi Sahatci, organized by the Zakhar Bron School of Music and also took part at the ZBSM Summer Masterclass at the Menton Festival, where he studied with Professor Zakhar Bron.

Marc also plays saxophone. He is a student of Harry White at the Music School Conservatory Zürich (MKZ), where he participates in an intensive program and receives a scholarship.

Marc is a member of several orchestras: Sinfonietta of the MKZ , MKZ Saxophone Ensemble and the MKZ Big Band in which Marc plays the alto saxophone.

Composition plays an important role in Marc’s music education, he is taught and supported by Peter Appenzeller. Two of his compositions already were performed by orchestras.
