Moe Zürcher

Moe was born in 2004 in Aarau. She joined ZBSM in 2015 as a student of Nadezhda Korshakova and since 2016 is a student of Liana Tretiakova. Moe participated in the Masterclasses of Professor Zakhar Bron, Tatiana Samouil, Sergey Ostrovsky and Klaidi Sahatci at the Menton Festival and in Zurich and performed at the ZBSM open concerts in Zurich and Baden.

Moe Zürcher was born 2004 in Switzerland in a family with Swiss and Japanese roots. Moe began her violin studies at the age of seven with the Japanese violinist Takako To, a member of the Zurich Opera Orchestra, with whom she studied for two years. After that Moe studied for two more years with Jonathan Gaus from Lucerne.

After four years of violin studies Moe entered the Zakhar Bron School of Music, where during her first year she was taking lessons with Nadezhda Korshakova. Since August 2016 Moe studies with Liana Tretiakova.

Moe took part in the masterclasses of Zakhar Bron, Tatiana Samouil, Sergei Ostrovsky, Klaidi Sahatci, Boris Garlitsky and Sayaka Shoji at the Menton Festival and in Zurich.

In 2018 Moe won the first prize with honours at the Aargauer Music Competition, having received the highest possible score.

Moe regularly takes part in the concerts of the Zakhar Bron School of Music in Zurich and Baden. She also performed in the Yehudi Menuhin Forum in Bern, on the invitation of the Russian Embassy in Switzerland.
