At the Swiss Youth Music Competition Finale, which took place in Lugano on 15-19 May 2019, four ZBSM chamber music groups won first prizes (two with distinction) and one of our piano students a second prize.
On 11 May 2019 young soloists from the Zakhar Bron School of Music presented a program of Bach, Vivaldi, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov and other famous composers in the Kluskapelle in Zürich.
Besides our eight young violinists and cellists, all of whom won 1st prizes, our piano students also took part in the Swiss National Youth Music Competition that took place in Winterthur and Rotkreuz on 29 March 2019. They won seven prizes: one 1st, five 2nd and one 3rd.
At the Swiss National Youth Music Competition that took place in Winterthur and Rotkreuz on 30 March 2019 four chamber music groups from our school won the first prizes, two of them – with distinction!
Moe Zürcher, student of the Zakhar Bron School of Music (studio of Liana Tretiakova), won the Aargau Music Competition, having achieved the maximum score (60 points).
In November 2018 two scholarship holders of the Russian Spivakov Foundation visited Switzerland: the pianist Mariamna Sherling and the clarinetist Andrey Ryazantsev. On November 9 and 11 they gave two concerts together with students of the ZBSM, organized by the Zakhar Bron School of Music and the association "Concert Series Marina Korendfeld".
On the last Saturday in October 2018 young soloists of the Zakhar Bron School of Music gave a classical concert at the Erlenbacher Music Festival.
On 3 October, Sophie Branson, a student of the Zakhar Bron School of Music (studio of Liana Tretiakova), had the honor of participating in the gala concert of the festival, which took place in the legendary Bolshoi Theatre.
During the first week of the 2018/2019 academic year, a 12 year old student of ZBSM Sophie Branson (studio of Liana Tretiakova), participated in two projects in Geneva, performing the Summer from the Vivaldi’s famous cycle Four Seasons.
On the 5th of August 2018 in the series «Concerts au Musée» of the 69th Menton Music Festival, Sayaka Shoji, two students of ZBSM and ensemble of violinists gave a highly acclaimed concert at the Cocteau Museum. It was the conclusion and highlight of third year's edition master class.
From the 30th of July to the 5th of August 2018, the ZBSM held its third master class at the 69th Menton Music Festival on the Côte d'Azur. 15 students from all over the world took part and performed at several concerts.
Two students of the Zakhar Bron School of Music (studio of Liana Tretiakova), Nina Gringolts and Marc Senn, won prizes at the Premio di Padova International Competition, which took place in Padova (Italy), from 11th until 17th of June 2018.
The world’s most popular magazine for professional musicians reported on the performance of two young students of the Zakhar Bron School of Music at the 5th Trans-Siberian Art Festival. Our girls shared the stage with Vadim Repin and Alexander Buzlov at the world premiere of the Concert Grosso iGeneration.
Two of our piano students of Slava Spiridonov, Liza Bondareva and Dan Blank, took part in the 3rd International «Paleski Ahienchyk»-Competition for Young Musicians in the Belarusian city of Drahichyn in early June 2018.
On May 27, 2018, students of Slava Spiridonov gave a concert together with their teacher in the Kluskapelle.
At the beginning of May the finals of the Swiss Youth Music Competition 2018 took place in Zurich. The best placed students from the regional Entradas of mid-March were invited, among them our students Ilva Eigus and Aurora Gächter. Both received first prize again.
Our students Ilva Eigus and Sophie Branson played at the world premiere of iGeneration by Daniel Schnyder at the Trans-Siberian Art Festival in Novosibirsk, together with the festival’s founder, Vadim Repin.
During their trip to Russia in March 2018 Sophie Branson and Ilva Eigus not only participated in the premiere of iGeneration but also performed on various other occasions.
At the Swiss Youth Music Competition on March 16 and 17, 2018 Ilva Eigus and Aurora Gächter both won a first prize with distinction.
The ZBSM moves to a new location on Pfauen.
Instead of a holiday in Latvia, six children attended a masterclass with Liana Tretiakova. One girl came all the way from China.
Marc Senn completed the second highest level at the Stufentest.
A celebration concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Professor Bron took place on the 17 December 2017 at the Kurtheater in Baden.
During the last month of 2017, ten year old Ilva Eigus (student of Liana Tretiakova) was featured on Swiss Television in the program “Glanz und Gloria”.
In November 2017 the Zakhar Bron School of Music and the association "Concert Series Marina Korendfeld" organized for the first time joint concerts of the scholarship holders of the Spivakov Foundation (Russia) and the Zakhar Bron School of Music (Zurich).
With her performances on violin and piano, Ilva Eigus has contributed to the success of the theatre production “GIFT” (“POISON”) in the Helfereitheater, Zurich.
Congratulations to 10 year old Ilva Eigus for her brilliant and effortless performance of Mozart's 1st violin concerto with the Collegium Cantorum Orchestra.
Three students of our School took part in the International Summer Academy at the Mozarteum University (Salzburg, Austria).
On the 3rd of August 2017 Professor Zakhar Bron and the best students of the Summer Academy presented a violin recital under the auspices of the 68th Menton Music Festival.
From the 30th of July until the 8th of August Zakhar Bron School of Music was holding its second open violin Masterclass in Menton (Côte d'Azur, France) within the frame of the 68th Menton Music Festival.
Sophie Branson, a talented student of the Zakhar Bron School of Music received the highest award – first prize – at the Premio di Padova International Competition, which took place in Padova (Italy), from 11th until 18th of June 2017.
On Saturday, June 10th, eleven young violin and piano students of the Zakhar Bron School of Music took part in an annual concert "Young Soloists", which took place at the Zurich Theatre Stok.
In the beginning of June a gifted student of the Zakhar Bron School of Music, Aurora Gaechter, has performed in two concerts in Moscow: at the Bolshoi Theatre and in the Museum of Russian Impressionism.
Three young pianists from the Zakhar Bron School of Music received two second prizes and one third prize at the Swiss National Youth Music Competition, which took place on 24-25.03.2017.
In February 2017 five most advanced violin students of the ZBSM (studio of Liana Tretiakova) went on a concert tour to Siberia, organized by the School.
On February 9th, 2017, talented young musicians from Switzerland performed as soloists with the Chamber Orchestra "Soloists of Neuchatel" under the baton of Sergei Ostrovsky.
On October 28th 2016 Aurora Gächter (10) and Ilva Eigus (9) performed with the State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan in the concert hall of the State Conservatory.
On November 13th 2016, our student Sophie Branson successfully performed Bach Concerto in A-minor with the City Orchestra of Grenchen.
After a week of intense master class with Liana Tretyakova, the young violinists Aurora Gächter, Ilva Eigus and Sophie Branson performed their solo programs in the Reformed Church in Riga.
On October 19th, 2016, Ilva has been invited by the Hermanis Brauns Foundation to take part in the “Violinist Parade” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Sir Yehudi Menuhin. The concert took place in the representative House of the Blackheads in Riga, Latvia.
The first Masterclass of the Zakhar Bron School of Music took place from the 5th to 10th of August within the frame of the 67th edition of the famous Music Festival of Menton – a gem town on the Côte d'Azur.
In the first days of summer, on June 26th, the students of the Zakhar Bron School of Music appeared on the stage of the Chamber Hall of the Congress House of Zurich for the first time.
Thanks to the generous support of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, a concert of young soloists took place in the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theater on June 3rd. The concert has been a highlight of the international annual festival „Moscow Meets Friends“.
Congratulations to Ilva Eigus, a seven year old student of Liana Tretiakova, for receiving the 1st prize “with distinction” and the Miglior Violinista award (across all age categories) at the music competition “Premio Crescendo” in Florence.
Our congratulations go to Sofia Gorshkova and Dan Blank who received the certificate of the 1st and the 3rd level at the Young Pianists Competition in Minsk.
Congratulations to Alexander Sahatci, student of Liana Tretiakova, with his success (1st Prize with Honors) at the Swiss National Youth Music Competition in Lugano.
Our sincere congratulations to Ilva Eigus, a student of Liana Tretyakova, who has won the First Prize in the Junior category 8-10 at the music competition "Rising Stars 2016" that took place on February 26-28 in Riga, Latvia.
Sophie Branson and Ilva Eigus, students of Liana Tretiakova, debuted as soloists with orchestra on 31 October 2015.
On 21 and 28 March 2015 Romane Favia (student of Liana Tretiakova) performed Mozart's Concerto in G major in two concerts with the chamber orchestra "Amici dell’ Arte" under the baton of Marcel Blancard.
On 23 November 2014, young soloists of the ZBSM performed with the accompaniment of a string quintet and a cembalo at the City Hall of Zug, the oldest concert hall in town.
On 9 and 10 June 2012 Emilia von Albertini (student of Liana Tretiakova) appeared as a soloist with the Thalwil Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Kevin Griffits, performing Bruch's Violin Concerto in G minor.
On 20 February 2010 two young violinists gave a concert in the San Theodul church in Davos.
