Romaine Bolinger is a successful violinist from Switzerland. With "Gagliano Trio" and Bron Chamber Orchestra she performs in Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Austria and participates in various festivals. She is also a substitute player of the Tonhalle Orchestra.
Romaine Bolinger is a successful violinist from Switzerland. Her solo career has taken her to such famous concert halls as Gewandhaus Leipzig, Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Philharmonie Berlin, Tonhalle Zürich, Französischer Dom Berlin, where she has performed with Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, Camerata Berlin, Berlin Sinfonietta and the Orchestra „The Winners“ among others. With the “Gagliano Trio” Romaine performs in Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Austria and participates in various festivals. Romaine Bolinger is a prize winner of numerous competitions.
She studied with Eriko Furusawa during her years as concertmaster of the Tonhalle Orchestra. From 2008 to 2014 Romaine studied with Professor Bron at the Zurich University of the Arts, where she received Bachelors degree, Masters degree in orchestral performance and Masters degree in pedagogics with honours. During her studies Romaine has performed as a soloist and as a concertmaster with various orchestras. She is also a member of the Bron Chamber Orchestra, the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Stradivari Ensemble.
Romaine has completed her apprenticeship at the Tonhalle Orchestra and was accepted as a substitute player.
At the Zakhar Bron School of Music Romaine Bolinger teaches violin to children and teenagers (intensive course).
